About Me

Howdy! Welcome to Texas! Let me introduce you to our little family...
First off, there's me--Amy or sometimes AmyLynne, depending on who you are. If you're friends with my husband, you most likely think my name is actually AmyLynne. But really--you can call me whatever you want--as long as it's nice.

I'm 26 years old, a BYU graduate in Early Childhood Education, wife of BK, mother of Landon and Spencer, and I have a lot to say about pretty much everything. Mostly I talk about my adventures here in Texas as my husband pursues/finishes a degree in Physical Therapy. I decided to get serious about blogging when I realized that I hate living in an apartment more than practically everything else in the world, and I found that by writing daily, my mind could escape to much happier and more humorous things. Sometimes I talk about my husband's time served in the military--sometimes I talk about how it took me four years to get pregnant--sometimes I talk about my religion--sometimes I talk about TV shows I like--sometimes I'm funny--sometimes I'm serious.

My husband BK and I have been married for a little over 8 years now.

If you're in the mood for a fantabulous love story, click here. BK thinks I make him "look like a buffoon" far too often on this blog (whatever that means.) I just find him to be fascinating, so I can't help but share my commentary on his life with the world. But in reality, I think he's awesome. I mean, he puts up with me, that's gotta mean something right?

Some of the things BK has accomplished in life, besides acquiring me as his wife: grew up in St. George, served a two-year mission for our church in San Antonio, Texas, graduated from BYU with a Microbiology degree, finally fathered my children, and most currently, he is finishing Physical Therapy school, and will soon be starting his new job!  Oh, and he bought me an amazing house to raise our children in. Quite a stud, no?

Here's my oldest little man--Landon.
Landon was born May 12, 2008. And he is growing up way too fast. As I mentioned before, we had to wait a long time for our little Panders. (Landon--Landon Pandon--Pandon--Panda, Panders, etc.) Being able to stay home with him has quickly become one of the greatest blessings of my life. Being able to keep pants on him will someday become a great blessing in my life--I hope.

Here is my younger little man--Spencer
Spencer was born April 22, 2010.  He came as quite a surprise to us, as we had to wait so very long for Landon to decide to join us. But apparently these close-in-age brothers were just meant to be.  So far Spencer is an awesome little baby.  I feel like a rockstar when I get both of my children to take a nap at the same time.

Sometimes I talk about other people.

There's The Colonel and His Wife--my parents.
Sada and Mech (aka Sara and Megan)--my sisters.
And a whole other cast of lovable, fun characters I've had the privilege of getting to know.

Thanks again for stoppin' by! I just love new blogging friends!
